Martin Hall Office Assistant (OA)

About the role#

The Martin Hall Office Assistant provides administrative support to the residential community at Baylor University. This role serves as a primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff, helping to maintain a secure and organized living environment while upholding the standards of Campus Living & Learning.

What you'll do#

• Monitor door security and report issues to residence hall staff.
• Provide administrative assistance, including room access support and equipment checkout.
• Maintain accurate logbooks for maintenance requests, lost and found items, and office records.
• Assist residents in communicating concerns to hall staff.
• Enforce Campus Living & Learning policies and procedures.
• Greet visitors and provide general clerical support, including handling correspondence and data entry.

What you'll need#

• Must be a student currently enrolled at Baylor University.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents and visitors.
• Knowledge of on-campus locations and resources.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance and comply with all University policies.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources.

Location & details#

• Location: Martin Residence Hall, Waco, Texas.
• Term: Fall 2026 (August 2026 – May 2027).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, including potential weekend shifts.
• Compensation: Paid position.
