About the role#
This position supports the Logistics Strategist in coordinating and executing events at Baylor University. You will handle logistics for departmental and student organization events across campus while ensuring compliance with university policies.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate event logistics for various campus groups.
- Draft event agreements and maintain communication with clients by phone and email.
- Develop room layouts using specialized software.
- Assist guests and clients with professionalism.
- Manage incoming calls and complete additional administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Experience with event logistics coordination.
- Effective communication skills.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- Location: LL Sams Offices, 2100 River Street, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Minimum 12 to 15 hours per week between 8am and 5pm.
- Pay: $9.00 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
