About the role#
The Appreciation Night Thank You Crew Member assists with the annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night at Baylor University. This role supports the execution of event activities to provide a meaningful experience for university employees and their families. This is a short-term opportunity for the Fall 2026 term, specifically for a one-day event on October 10th.
What you'll do#
- Provide on-site support for event operations, including set-up, clean-up, registration, and attendee assistance.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of event logistics.
- Deliver customer service to clients and visitors by answering inquiries and providing information.
- Manage various tasks related to hospitality services.
- Comply with university policies and maintain punctual attendance during assigned shifts.
What you'll need#
- A willingness to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Capability to perform physical tasks involving the handling of light materials and supplies, weighing between 0 to 15 lbs.
- Students pursuing majors in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing, or Public Health are encouraged to apply.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at Touchdown Alley and McLane Stadium.
- Employment Type: Part-time, paid position.
- Shift Availability: Shifts are available on October 10, 2026, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
