About the role#
The School of Music at Baylor University is seeking up to three student workers to create social media content for Instagram and Facebook. This position focuses on sharing the music student perspective through reels, image carousels, and stories. The role offers flexible working hours designed to accommodate the schedules of busy music students.
What you'll do#
- Capture behind the scenes footage, rehearsals, and performances to document the student experience.
- Design and draft Instagram reels, short-form videos, and photo series.
- Repurpose event photos and videos into social-friendly content.
- Help maintain a consistent visual look and brand voice across multiple accounts.
- Plan and organize content in advance to meet deadlines and brand standards.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with social editing tools such as Adobe Express or Canva.
- Experience capturing and sharing content on social media.
- Strong organizational skills to manage content planning.
- Effective communication skills for digital storytelling.
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Enrollment in a major such as Graphic Design, Media Studies, Communications, Art, Marketing, or Business Administration.
