About the role#
The School of Music at Baylor University is hiring up to three student workers to create social media content for Instagram and Facebook. This position focuses on sharing the music student experience through reels, stories, and photo carousels. It is a flexible role designed for students who are already capturing their own musician journeys and want to contribute to the school's social presence.
What you'll do#
- Capture behind the scenes footage, rehearsals, and performances.
- Design and draft Instagram reels and short-form videos.
- Repurpose event photos and videos into social-friendly content.
- Help maintain a consistent look and voice across multiple accounts.
- Ensure all content meets deadlines and brand standards.
What you'll need#
- Familiarity with social editing tools like Adobe Express or Canva.
- Ability to capture and share content.
- Organizational skills for planning social media content.
- Communicative skills for storytelling.
- Willingness to take initiative and work collaboratively.
- Enrollment in majors such as Graphic Design, Media Studies, Communications, Art, Marketing, or Business Administration.
