About the role#
The Graduate Front Desk Assistant supports the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors to ensure the office runs smoothly while maintaining a welcoming environment.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
- Greet and assist guests at the front desk.
- Maintain professional communication with prospective and current graduate students.
- Process incoming mail and transcripts.
- Help maintain organized records and assist with various office projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s graduate program at Baylor University.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- A responsible and dependable nature with the ability to report to work on time.
- Ability to comply with university policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Morrison Hall, Suite 200, Waco, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Minimum 20 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.
