About the role#
The Office Assistant provides administrative and relational support to on-campus communities at Baylor University. You will serve as a resource for residents, visitors, and staff while helping maintain the safety and security of the residential community. This position requires you to uphold customer service standards and follow all university policies.
What you'll do#
- Monitor door security and alert staff to any issues.
- Provide administrative help to residents, including room access, equipment checkout, and basic technical support.
- Maintain accurate logs for maintenance issues, lost and found items, gift registries, and unlock codes.
- Communicate resident concerns to hall staff.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Residence Hall Director.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one semester as a Baylor student.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- A professional, friendly, and proactive approach to your work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work well with others.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
