About the role#
The Student Productions Intern serves as the Sing Judge Coordinator for the All-University Sing production. This role supports the Student Productions Committee by managing the recruitment, selection, and on-campus experience for event judges. This is a paid, part-time student worker position.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Department of Student Activities and event judges.
- Manage outreach to potential judges and maintain communication with those selected.
- Prepare essential judge resources, including training materials, scorecards, and biographies.
- Coordinate travel logistics and on-campus schedules for judges.
- Plan and attend five judge dinners and assist with the scoring process during five evening productions.
- Collect reimbursement and event feedback information from judges following production.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including maintaining databases, developing processes, and assisting with special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student status.
- Demonstrated communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Preferred experience in performance production management, event planning, or customer service.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while following university policies.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Political Science are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- Location: Bill Daniel Student Center, Student Activities Suite 101, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, with increased hours (20-25 per week) during two show weeks in February. Must be available from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on February 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
