About the role#
The Student Productions Intern supports the Student Productions Committee and the All-University Sing production. As the Sing Judge Coordinator, this role manages the recruitment, selection, and on-campus experience for event judges. You will attend biweekly meetings with your supervisor and work to meet project deadlines throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Serve as a liaison between the Department of Student Activities and event judges.
- Manage outreach to potential judges and maintain communication with selected individuals.
- Prepare judge resources, including training materials, scorecards, and biographies.
- Coordinate travel details and on-campus schedules for judges.
- Organize five judge dinners and assist with the scoring process during five evening productions.
- Collect reimbursement and feedback information from judges following production.
- Provide administrative and operational support for daily tasks, including maintaining internal databases and records.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student status.
- Demonstrated skills in communication, organization, and project management.
- Experience in performance production management and event planning.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or Political Science.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Bill Daniel Student Center.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour, up to 300 total hours.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, with 20 to 25 hours per week during two show weeks in February. Mandatory availability is required from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on February 18, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2027.
