About the role#
This position supports The Store, the campus food pantry at Baylor University. You will assist with daily operations to ensure students have consistent access to resources. The role requires 15 to 20 hours of work per week during the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a paid, on-site position based in Waco, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Open and close The Store.
- Stock and organize inventory.
- Clean and maintain pantry operations.
- Provide respectful and confidential service to students.
- Support outreach efforts, donation drives, and food distributions.
- Help guide undergraduate student workers and volunteers during shifts.
- Track inventory, manage food deliveries, and assist with data collection and reporting.
- Communicate operational needs and supply concerns to your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Psychology, Nutrition, or Sociology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while assisting students.
- Experience or interest in inventory management and administrative tasks.
- Capacity to guide and support undergraduate team members.
