Student Worker - Athletics Photography Student

About the role#

This position supports the Branding and Creative Services department at Baylor University. The Athletics Photography Student will capture high-quality imagery for social media and marketing, covering live sporting events, practices, team activities, and behind-the-scenes moments. This role involves both field and studio work, requiring a balance of technical skill and creative initiative.

What you'll do#

• Photograph live sporting events, practices, and athletic activities.
• Assist with studio and product photography, as well as student-athlete features.
• Edit, label, and organize photo files post-production.
• Manage equipment setup and take down for gamedays and media events.
• Collaborate with creative staff to support content planning and visual strategy.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining compliance with NCAA and university policies.

What you'll need#

• A creative eye for photography and a full understanding of camera equipment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and/or Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for post-production cataloging.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• A minimum GPA of 2.00.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or a related field.

• Term: Fall 2026 and ongoing.
• Modality: On-site.
• Commitment: 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: $8.00–$12.00 per hour.
