About the role#
This position supports the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence at Baylor University. The role focuses on providing welcoming customer service and light administrative support to student-athletes and staff.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and manage the front desk area.
- Check in student-athletes and tutors for scheduled appointments.
- Communicate with individuals who are late for their sessions.
- Manage the check-out process for supplies.
- Attend all scheduled shifts regularly.
- Maintain high attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a major such as Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.
- Strong time management skills and a personable approach to customer service.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student information.
- Commitment to following departmental and NCAA policies.
- Willingness to participate in required onboarding education.
- Proactive communication with supervisors and team members regarding schedule changes.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at the Student-Athlete Center for Excellence.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Minimum of 6 hours available weekly; shifts occur during operating hours (closed Saturdays).
- Compensation: This is a paid position at $9 per hour.
