About the role#
The Yearbook Outreach and Engagement Representative leads all outreach efforts to promote yearbook sales. You will manage sales outreach from start to finish, ensuring strong visibility and consistent engagement across campus among students, families, and campus partners. This position includes a $9 per hour pay rate and a $1,500 performance-based scholarship per semester.
What you'll do#
- Create and send email marketing campaigns promoting sales, deadlines, and special offers.
- Manage social media accounts and post content to drive awareness and interest.
- Conduct outreach to students, parents, and campus groups to encourage yearbook purchases.
- Track engagement trends and share weekly updates with the yearbook team.
- Identify new opportunities to promote the yearbook across campus and online.
- Maintain consistent, professional communication that reflects Student Media standards.
What you'll need#
- Highly self-driven with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Outgoing communicator who enjoys connecting with students and campus partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident writer with clear, engaging communication skills.
- Comfortable using social media platforms and learning new digital tools.
- Creative thinker who brings energy and ideas to outreach and engagement efforts.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site at Castellaw Communications, Room 226.
- Schedule: 16 hours per week.
- Term: Fall 2027 and Winter 2028.
