About the role#
The TOTE Internship (Development) Program is a paid summer opportunity for students to gain experience in the maritime transportation industry. Interns work on assignments that contribute to our business operations. This program serves as a pipeline for our TOTE Development Program, which is a rotational program for graduates. We place interns in various functional areas based on business needs and individual skill sets.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful projects within the company.
- Gain exposure to one or more functional areas including Operations, Logistics, Finance, Safety, Commercial Sales, Customer Service Excellence, or Human Resources.
- Work alongside colleagues and leaders to develop professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, Sales, or Marketing.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
- Prior work, internship, or volunteer experience.
- Demonstrated leadership through projects or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing timelines.
- Willingness to travel and mobility for future opportunities.
- Indefinite right to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background investigation.
