About the role#
The TOTE Internship (Development) Program is a paid summer opportunity for students to work on projects that impact our business. Interns gain experience in the maritime transportation industry while working alongside our teams. We place interns in functional areas based on business needs, including Operations, Logistics, Finance, Safety, Commercial Sales, Customer Service Excellence, or Human Resources. High-performing interns may be considered for the TOTE Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Complete meaningful assignments that contribute to our business goals.
- Work in various departments such as Logistics, Finance, or Human Resources.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Adapt to changing timelines and manage ambiguity.
- Communicate project updates to team members and leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Analytics, or Sales and Marketing.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and December 2028.
- Previous work experience, such as a prior internship or volunteer work.
- Demonstrated leadership skills through projects or extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and mobility for future development opportunities.
- Indefinite right to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background investigation.
