About the role#
The Marketing Intern for Charity Champions will support TFNB Your Bank for Life by providing marketing and outreach services. This role involves identifying organizational needs and executing creative strategies to support the bank's community service initiatives. This is a student employee position requiring 10-20 hours per week, with at least 50% of work time spent on-site at the organization's office.
What you'll do#
- Identify and address the organization's marketing needs through social media, physical collateral, and website design.
- Manage social media presence, including creating photos, videos, and maintaining a posting calendar.
- Produce one new creative flyer per month, one collateral refresh per month, and one creative design for a major fundraiser per semester.
- Draft internal and external communications, such as press releases, pitch letters, newsletters, and blog posts.
- Participate in weekly meetings with your supervisor and the organization to coordinate event promotions and branding.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Baylor University student employee.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with marketing functions, including communications outreach and creative production.
- Experience with social media content creation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Academic background in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
