Student Worker - Student Photographer

About the role#

Baylor University is seeking a student photographer for the Fall 2026 semester to support the Marketing and Communications department. This position involves capturing images for various campus events and assignments while contributing to the department's weekly social media content. University-provided camera equipment is available for use.

What you'll do#

• Photograph university events and assignments.
• Generate and assist with weekly social media content.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend hours.
• Participate in routine critiques and feedback sessions regarding your work.

What you'll need#

• Experience in photography.
• Technical knowledge of DSLR cameras, including an understanding of manual exposure.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work as a self-starter.
• Openness to receiving and applying constructive feedback.
• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Media Studies, Art, Graphic Design, or Marketing.

• Term: Fall 2026.
• Compensation: Paid position at $10.00 per hour.
