About the role#
This position offers hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media management at the Waco Civic Theatre. It is designed for students pursuing careers in marketing, communications, media studies, or graphic design. This role is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) students only.
What you'll do#
- Manage social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Create engaging content such as posts, stories, and event promotions.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies for upcoming shows and events.
- Photograph rehearsals and performances for promotional use and theatre records.
- Analyze social media metrics to provide insights and improve audience engagement.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency.

- Proficiency in photography and videography.
- Extensive familiarity with social media platforms.
- Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and editing.
- High levels of creativity and attention to detail.
