About the role#
This position supports the Student Support Programs team at Baylor University. You will help implement program objectives and connect students with resources to support their individual needs.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary advisor for the Veterans of Baylor student organization.
- Maintain connections between faculty or staff and student veterans.
- Coordinate and run events for Baylor VETS.
- Provide leadership development for student leaders.
- Conduct outreach to students as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student at Baylor University.
- Experience working with student organizations.
- Ability to coordinate events.
- Leadership development skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Public Health, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, or Criminal Justice.
Location & details#
- This role is based in the Sid Richardson Building in Waco, Texas.
- The position is on-site for the Fall 2026 term.
- You will work 15 hours per week between 8am and 5pm.
- This is a paid position at $15.00 per hour.
