About the role#
This position supports the Student Support Programs team within the Center for Academic Success and Engagement. The role focuses on fostering student engagement and connecting students with resources to support their academic and personal success.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the primary advisor for the Veterans of Baylor student organization.
- Maintain connections between student veterans and faculty or staff mentors.
- Coordinate and execute events and programs for Baylor VETS.
- Provide leadership development opportunities for student leaders.
- Conduct outreach to students as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current graduate student status.
- Experience working with student organizations.
- Ability to coordinate events.
- Strong communication and leadership development skills.
- Preferred majors include Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Public Health, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, or Criminal Justice.
Location & details#
- Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 15 hours per week between 8am and 5pm.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Pay: $15.00 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
