About the role#
This position offers students the opportunity to gain experience in arts administration and nonprofit management. The role is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) students and focuses on developing organizational and office management skills.
What you'll do#
- Support administrative staff with daily operations.
- Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence.
- Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts.
- Maintain records and databases for memberships and donations.
- Provide general office support, including filing and data entry.
- Run errands, including returns or deliveries.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Experience with scheduling, calendar management, and office organization.
- Strong data entry and record keeping skills.
- Ability to work with initiative and independence.
- Capacity for multitasking, problem solving, and time management.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Communications, Art, or Psychology.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site at the Waco Civic Theatre.
- Compensation: Paid position at $15 per hour.
- Schedule: Flexible working hours.
