About the role#
This internship at the Mayborn Museum focuses on building evaluation capacity through the collection and analysis of visitor experience data. You will support the museum in becoming a data-driven organization by working with the Collaboration for Ongoing Visitor Experience Studies (COVES) project. This role includes training in human subject research and data evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, set-up, and implementation of the COVES survey.
- Spend 4 hours each week administering the survey to museum visitors.
- Create monthly reports from survey data to share with the museum.
- Plan and facilitate volunteer training sessions on survey administration.
- Work with your supervisor to evaluate the effectiveness of survey efforts.
- Complete other evaluation or market research projects as assigned.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Modality: On-site at the Mayborn Museum.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Schedule: 12 hours per week for 5 months.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
- Majors: Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
