About the role#
This position supports the Waco Civic Theatre, focusing on hospitality, customer service, and arts administration. It is reserved for Federal Work Study students. You will gain experience in public relations and theatre operations.
What you'll do#
- Handle ticket sales, reservations, and patron inquiries at the box office.
- Manage the front of house during performances to ensure a positive experience for guests.
- Coordinate with volunteers and ushers to maintain order and efficiency.
- Provide information about upcoming shows and answer questions.
- Assist with organizing special events or fundraisers.
- Help the Guest Relations Manager with inventory of gift shop items.
What you'll need#
- Experience or comfort with cash handling and payment processing.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Professional phone and email etiquette.
- Ability to assist with housekeeping and theatre maintenance.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Pay: $15 per hour.
- Schedule: Flexible hours, with weekends required.
