The Mayborn Museum Store Associate role involves engaging with visitors, university educators, and staff to provide high-quality customer service. As the final stop for many museum guests, associates play a key role in ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
What you'll do#
- Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer inquiries regarding merchandise, museum history, and exhibits.
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of museum events.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale system and handle cash transactions.
- Support general business operations and complete assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
- Professionalism in appearance and interactions with coworkers and visitors.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Commitment to regular and punctual attendance.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration or Communications programs is preferred.
