About the role#
The School of Music at Baylor University is hiring up to two graduate students to assist with the layout and production of printed performance programs. You will support recitals for ensembles, faculty, guests, and students. This role requires consistent attention to detail and the ability to manage production timelines for both printed and digital materials.
What you'll do#
- Respond to all assignment requests in a timely manner.
- Use provided templates and content to build music performance programs.
- Review all layouts to ensure accuracy and remove spelling, grammar, or formatting errors.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Team and Music Faculty regarding content updates.
- Manage the printing process by communicating with the Copy Center.
- Update status tracking spreadsheets and store final files in shared folders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Familiarity with music performance.
- Proficiency in Adobe Express.
- Ability to follow a strict style guide and University policies.
- Strong communication skills to manage deadlines and content delivery.
- Majors considered include Graphic Design, Communications, Media Studies, Art, Business Administration, or Marketing.
Location & details#
- This position is remote.
- Work hours are flexible but require consistent weekly availability.
- The term for this position begins in Fall 2026.
- You will need to complete program layouts within one week of receiving an assignment to meet the two-week total production turnaround.
