About the role#
The School of Music at Baylor University is seeking up to two graduate students to assist with the development and layout of printed performance programs. This role supports ensemble, faculty, guest, and student recitals. You will manage the production process from initial design to final printing, ensuring that all materials are accurate and delivered on time for performances.
What you'll do#
- Develop music performance programs using provided templates and content.
- Review all materials to ensure accuracy and eliminate spelling, grammar, or formatting errors.
- Respond to assignment requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team and Music Faculty regarding content changes.
- Coordinate with the Copy Center for program printing and Music Operations for pick-up and delivery.
- Maintain project status updates in a shared tracking system and store final files in designated folders.
- Communicate consistently regarding availability and deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Proficiency in Adobe Express.
- Familiarity with music performance.
- Ability to strictly adhere to university style guides and policies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Eligibility for this position requires the completion of a sample program development task using provided templates.
