About the role#
Baylor University is seeking a Sports Photographer/Videographer for the Campus Recreation department. This position is ideal for students in Media Studies, Communications, or Graphic Design looking to build their portfolios by capturing high-quality visual content for campus programs, intramurals, and club sports.
What you'll do#
- Attend assigned Campus Rec events to capture photo and video content.
- Compose shots that highlight the energy and community of events beyond the game results.
- Follow creative direction and shot lists provided by the Communications Manager.
- Edit photos and organize content weekly in shared folders.
- Stay current with visual content trends, such as Reels and behind-the-scenes clips.
What you'll need#
- Experience with photo and video editing software.
- Proficiency in light editing using tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or CapCut.
- Ability to organize files clearly and consistently.
- Knowledge of current visual media trends.
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends as required by the event schedule.

- Location: McLane Student Life Center, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Minimum 15 hours per week.
- Compensation: $10 per hour.
