About the role#
The Student Athlete Center for Excellence is looking for a Class Checker to support our team. You will help track class attendance for an assigned caseload of student-athletes. This position requires someone who is reliable, honest, and detail-oriented to ensure accurate documentation and communication of attendance records.
What you'll do#
- Track class attendance for specific student-athletes.
- Document and report attendance data to designated staff members.
- Research and create educational or training materials.
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops and educational sessions.
- Provide information and service to internal and external partners.
- Assist students with academic subjects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a student in Psychology, Communications, Sociology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all student information.
- Commitment to regular and punctual attendance.
- Capability to follow university policies and procedures.
- Strong customer service skills when answering questions or resolving concerns.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based at the Simpson Athletics and Academic Center in Waco, Texas.
- The role is for the Fall 2026 term.
- This is a paid position.
