About the role#
This position supports the Baylor Career Center as a Teaching Assistant for the Fall 2026 term. The role involves assisting with course assignments, grading, and daily student service operations. Please note that this is an active role with no designated downtime for study.
What you'll do#
- Assist with grading and assignments for PRD 2101, ECS 2101, or BUS 3101.
- Educate and guide students on the use of the Handshake system and other career-related tools.
- Provide support for student services and daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with events occurring after regular business hours throughout the semester.
- Run campus errands, which requires the ability to lift 20 to 50 pounds.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the Freshman year of undergraduate studies.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Proficiency in Canvas and Handshake is preferred.
- Prior completion of PRD 2101, ECS 2101, BUS 2101, and BUS 3101 is preferred.
- Students in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources are encouraged to apply.

- Location: Waco, Texas (Sid Richardson/Rogers buildings).
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position.
