About the role#
This position provides administrative and research support for the Graduate Program in Higher Education Leadership. You will assist faculty and staff with daily operations, project organization, and communication. This is a part-time role for the 2026-2027 academic year, requiring 3-6 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist with general office tasks including document creation, proofreading, and inbox management.
- Conduct academic research such as literature searches, data transcription, and internet-based project research.
- Maintain and update the program social media profiles.
- Aggregate evaluation data and update alumni contact records.
- Support the Program Director and Administrative Assistant during events.
- Communicate project status to supervisors on a regular basis.
What you'll need#
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet navigation.
- Ability to handle confidential information with care.
- Prior experience in an office, retail, or business setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, Political Science, or Sociology are encouraged to apply.
