About the role#
This position supports the maintenance and operations of Central Campus buildings during the 2026-27 academic year. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your classes, with shifts ranging from 1 to 20 hours per week. You may work during the day or evening, on weekdays or weekends. We are open to discussing options for picking up extra hours if you are interested.
What you'll do#
- Perform general cleaning in classrooms, restrooms, and kitchens.
- Collect and remove trash and recycling.
- Handle setup and tear down for campus events.
- Serve as a substitute for other staff members when needed.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- A sense of personal responsibility and pride in your work.
- Ability to think creatively.
- Physical capability to stand or walk for long periods and use cleaning chemicals.
- Willingness to follow the dress code, which requires closed-toed shoes and jeans or modest shorts.
