The Student Success Ambassador program aims to improve academic, interpersonal, and individual well-being. As a student employee, you will assist with operational functions that support the goals of the Paul L. Foster Success Center. This position requires a commitment of 7 hours per week for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Attend the Strategic Learning 1102-N7 course, which covers talent development, the science of learning, study strategies, and campus resources.
- Direct fellow students to appropriate campus and community resources.
- Promote available resources and your own experiences to peers in classes and student organizations.
- Participate in tutoring programming provided by the university.
- Attend weekly check-ins to discuss learning strategies and resource availability.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance for all classes, tutoring sessions, and supplemental instruction.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current freshman.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- No history of a severe disciplinary record.
- Ability to comply with all university policies.

- Location: Sid Richardson building, Waco, Texas.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $11.00 per hour.
