About the role#

The Office Assistant position at Brooks College involves staffing the front desk of the residential college and supporting daily community operations. Hours are flexible and are self-scheduled during a team meeting at the start of each semester.

What you'll do#

• Provide general office assistance and administrative support.
• Greet clients and visitors, answer inquiries, and provide information.
• Manage the front desk, including checking materials in and out for residents.
• Assist faculty members with office-related needs.
• Maintain files, reports, and ensure the confidentiality of information.
• Monitor door alarms and ensure common area spaces remain clean and organized.
• Service the coffee cart and assist with various projects or tasks as needed.

• An excellent attendance record with consistent punctuality.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Open to students from majors such as Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology.

• Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week (40 hours per biweekly period).
• Compensation: $8.00 per hour.
