About the role#
The Graduate Intern for Well-Being Initiatives supports the planning, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to promote student wellness at Baylor University. This role focuses on fostering a campus culture of holistic well-being through educational initiatives, outreach, and engagement opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Develop and coordinate wellness programs, workshops, and events for the student body.
- Support the Peer Health Educators and Well-Being Ambassador program through training, communication, and scheduling.
- Create and distribute educational materials covering mental health, substance use prevention, and stress management.
- Manage communication channels, including email, group chats, and social media, to share resources.
- Collect and analyze participation data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with campus partners to enhance outreach and provide administrative support such as record-keeping and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Public Health graduate program at Baylor.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for student development and wellness education.
- Experience in event planning, peer education, or student leadership is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas (McLane Student Life Center).
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $16 per hour.
