Graduate Student Employee Biweekly - Assistant Director for Well-being Initiatives

About the role#

The Graduate Intern for Well-Being Initiatives supports the planning, implementation, and assessment of programs designed to promote student wellness at Baylor University. This role focuses on fostering a campus culture of holistic well-being through educational initiatives, outreach, and engagement opportunities.

What you'll do#

• Develop and coordinate wellness programs, workshops, and events for the student body.
• Support the Peer Health Educators and Well-Being Ambassador program through training, communication, and scheduling.
• Create and distribute educational materials covering mental health, substance use prevention, and stress management.
• Manage communication channels, including email, group chats, and social media, to share resources.
• Collect and analyze participation data to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with campus partners to enhance outreach and provide administrative support such as record-keeping and reporting.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Public Health graduate program at Baylor.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for student development and wellness education.
• Experience in event planning, peer education, or student leadership is preferred.

Location & details#

• Location: Waco, Texas (McLane Student Life Center).
• Term: Fall 2026.
• Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: $16 per hour.
