About the role#
This role supports the Maintenance Director in the care and stewardship of Mission Waco facilities and vehicles. You will work off-campus to help maintain properties and support various community service programs. This position requires Federal Work-Study eligibility.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks based on assigned work orders.
- Purchase or order necessary materials and supplies.
- Document and report information regarding completed work.
- Communicate with your supervisor to set daily priorities.
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and vendors as needed.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in computer tools including Word, Excel, Espace, email, and phone systems.
- A reliable form of transportation and a valid driver license.
- Familiarity with facility management equipment like paint and lawn mowers.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- A mature and communicable Christian faith.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10-20 hours per week.
- Compensation: $11.00 to $12.50 per hour depending on experience.
