About the role#
This position supports the Maintenance Director in the stewardship and care of Mission Waco facilities and vehicles. This is an off-campus role requiring Federal Work-Study eligibility. You will work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and vendors to maintain property and equipment.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks based on assigned work orders.
- Purchase or order necessary materials and supplies.
- Document and report information regarding work orders.
- Communicate with the supervisor to set priorities.
- Support Mission Waco staff and programs through facility and vehicle maintenance.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Espace, phone, and email.
- Familiarity with facility management equipment, such as paint and lawn mowers.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Reliable form of transportation and a valid driver license.
- Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10-20 hours per week.
- Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour.
