Student Money Management Peer Coaches provide individualized guidance to students regarding personal finance topics, including budgeting, credit management, goal setting, saving, investing, and financing college education. Coaches connect students with relevant campus resources and assist in the development of financial wellness programming and marketing materials. The department provides comprehensive training on money management and coaching methods.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one financial coaching to students.
- Facilitate workshops, presentations, and outreach efforts.
- Assist in the creation of financial wellness content and marketing materials.
- Connect students with campus resources.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant major such as Finance, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Experience or interest in marketing and social media.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Interest in conducting academic literature reviews.
- Interest in presenting at professional and academic conferences.
Location & details#
- Location: Sid Richardson Building, Waco, Texas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
