The Graduate Front Desk Assistant supports the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office at Baylor University. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors to ensure a smooth, organized, and welcoming office environment.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, students, and faculty at the front desk.
- Manage incoming communication by answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including processing incoming mail and transcripts.
- Maintain organized records and support the office with various ongoing projects.
- Provide professional service to prospective and current graduate students.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s graduate program at Baylor University.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A responsible and dependable work ethic with the ability to arrive on time for all scheduled shifts.
- A pleasant, willing, and courteous attitude when interacting with others.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and comply with university policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Morrison Hall, Suite 200, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
- Employment Term: Spring and ongoing.
