About the role#
The Graduate Front Desk Assistant supports the daily operations of the Graduate Admissions office at Baylor University. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors to ensure a smooth, organized, and welcoming office environment.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
- Greet and assist guests at the front desk.
- Maintain professional communication with prospective and current graduate students.
- Process incoming mail and transcripts.
- Assist with maintaining records and various office projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s graduate program at Baylor University.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A responsible, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Commitment to reporting to work on time as scheduled.
Location & details#
- Location: Morrison Hall, Suite 200, Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
- Employment term: Spring and ongoing.
