About the role#
This position offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, event production, and game presentation within the Baylor Athletics Department. It is designed for students interested in the sports industry who are looking for an entry-level opportunity to learn about live event coordination and athletics marketing.
What you'll do#
- Support the Marketing and Fan Experience staff with event preparation, execution, and game production.
- Assist with in-venue game presentation elements, including fan interactive contests, sponsored promotions, giveaways, and on-field or in-stand activations.
- Create a fun, engaging, and family-friendly environment at athletics competitions and community events.
- Engage with fans and build relationships with the local community through activations like Kids Zones and FanFest areas.
- Distribute flyers, posters, and other marketing collateral on campus and in the surrounding community.
- Attend community outreach events and promotional appearances.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current Baylor student.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Availability for all home football games.
- Availability for a few shifts over winter break.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Graphic Design, or Media Studies are relevant to this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week.
- Compensation: $7.25 per hour.
