Student Worker - Summer Camp - Alleluia Conference - Worship Associate

About the role#

The Alleluia Conference is an enrichment event hosted by the Dunn Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor University. This role supports the event, which brings together worship leaders, music ministers, and clinicians. The position is a full-time, paid student worker opportunity for the week of the conference.

What you'll do#

• Assist patrons and speakers with navigating the campus, locating rooms, securing materials, and ushering events.
• Manage the setup and teardown of various conference spaces.
• Support worship leadership components as needed, with specific tasks communicated in advance.
• Serve as a floating team member by making deliveries, picking up supplies, and completing other assigned duties.

What you'll need#

• Availability to work full-time hours for the duration of the conference week.
• Comfort engaging in hospitality and support roles for attendees and speakers.
• Ability to assist in event setup and leadership tasks.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and various tasks throughout the event.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Public Health, Psychology, and Business Administration.

Location & details#

• Location: Truett Seminary, Waco, Texas.
• Term: July 20, 2026, through July 24, 2026.
• Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours during the week of the conference, with hours potentially ranging between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour.
