About the role#
The Alleluia Conference is an enrichment event hosted by the Dunn Center for Christian Music Studies at Baylor University. This role supports the conference operations, including hospitality, logistics, and worship leadership components, from July 20, 2026, to July 24, 2026. This is a paid, full-time position for the duration of the conference week.
What you'll do#
- Provide hospitality by assisting patrons and speakers with room navigation, session welcomes, event ushering, and material distribution.
- Support event operations through the setup and teardown of conference spaces.
- Assist with worship leadership components as needs are communicated.
- Float between conference buildings to perform deliveries, supply pickups, and other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Availability to work full-time hours for the duration of the conference week.
- Comfort engaging in hospitality and support roles for attendees and speakers.
- Ability to assist in event setup and leadership tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to various responsibilities throughout the event.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Media Studies, Public Health, Psychology, and Business Administration.
