Student Worker- Athletic Medicine

About the role#

This student worker position within the Athletic Medicine department supports the daily operations of athletic facilities. The role involves physical tasks related to team support and facility maintenance, as well as business operations duties. This is a paid, part-time, on-site position based in Waco, Texas.

What you'll do#

• Handle the set-up and breakdown of equipment for practices, games, and workouts.
• Provide hydration support for athletic teams.
• Assist with the sanitation, maintenance, organization, and inventory of facilities and equipment.
• Perform business operations tasks and assist with various projects as assigned.
• Attend required meetings and events throughout the semester.
• Communicate regularly with your supervisor to complete assigned tasks.

What you'll need#

• Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions and climb stairs.
• Capacity to lift and carry 50-pound coolers and weights with assistance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and function in a high-stress environment.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining regular and punctual attendance and keeping confidential information secure.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and comply with university policies.
• Preference for students pursuing majors in Kinesiology, Health Administration, or Business Administration.

• Location: Fudge Football Development Center, Waco, Texas.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: 20 hours per week.
• Term: Rolling.
