PHARMACY/PHARMCST-INTERN

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position for Summer 2026. You will work on-site to support pharmacy operations, assist with sales and profit goals, and ensure a high standard of customer service and safety within the department.

What you'll do#

• Provide drug counseling to customers and assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations.
• Accurately input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense correct medications and bag filled prescriptions for accurate delivery to customers.
• Facilitate communication with prescribers for authorizations and insurance companies regarding claims.
• Accept and interpret oral and written prescriptions for new fills and refills.
• Provide immunizations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain department cleanliness, stock incoming orders, and manage medication inventory.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues with professionalism, integrity, and respect.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• A current, state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Capacity to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
