About the role#
Kroger is hiring a Pharmacy Intern to work on-site in Savannah, Georgia. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations and patient care.
What you'll do#
- Provide drug counseling to customers.
- Offer recommendations for over the counter medications.
- Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
- Dispense the correct medication to patients.
- Administer immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
- Handle insurance processing and contact prescribers for authorization.
- Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and manage medication stock.

- Current enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
- A valid, state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
