About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. You will work within our manufacturing facility to support the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery, physical structures, and electrical or pipe systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures to keep production running effectively.
- Complete assigned work orders and document your progress in our systems.
- Support the team with predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
- Keep your maintenance area clean and organized.
- Operate material handling equipment and use machine tools like lathes, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate parts.
What you'll need#
- At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proficient welding skills, plus knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in your work.
- Ability to work any shift as needed.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
