About the role#
As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will work alongside our Operations and Continuous Improvement teams to drive operational excellence. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and Operations staff to find inefficiencies and implement lean manufacturing solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in a production environment.
What you'll do#
- Identify inefficiencies and support process optimization across production lines.
- Conduct time studies and perform workflow analysis.
- Create value stream mapping and develop standard work.
- Support production line balancing and perform root cause analysis.
- Assist with Kaizen events.
- Collect and analyze data to support key performance indicators.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of a bachelor’s program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- A strong interest in continuous improvement, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Proactive work ethic and attention to detail.
