About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, and execution within a global manufacturing environment. You will support the Construction Project Management team during the summer of 2027. This role is paid and follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Track project progress by updating schedules and monitoring unit completion.
- Align deliverables with customer and market expectations.
- Coordinate with engineers, materials managers, logistics coordinators, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Assist with onboarding new technologies, process improvements, and various initiatives.
- Participate in Estimating group activities, including work on change orders and submittal packages.
- Respond to customer requests for quotations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Completion of coursework in construction management, project controls, or civil/structural engineering.
- A cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools.
- Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.

- Note: This position may require occasional travel to customer sites and work outside of normal business hours. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
