PHARMACY/PHARMCST-INTERN

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position for the Summer 2026 term. You will work on-site in Jefferson, Georgia, gaining hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting while supporting department operations and patient care.

What you'll do#

• Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products throughout the store.
• Maintain deep knowledge of pharmaceutical products to discuss them competently with customers and prescribers.
• Accurately dispense medications and provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with over-the-counter medication recommendations and process insurance information.
• Facilitate prescription fills, including accepting and interpreting oral and written prescriptions.
• Provide immunizations under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain department cleanliness and manage inventory, including stocking and checking incoming orders.
• Notify management of any customer or employee accidents and report safety risks or incidents to the pharmacist on duty.

What you'll need#

• Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
• A current, state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Ability to manage conflict in a cooperative and nonconfrontational manner.
• Commitment to acting with honesty and integrity regarding business and customer information.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
