About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position for Summer 2026. You will work on-site in Jefferson, Georgia, gaining hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions about products throughout the store.
- Gain and maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical products to discuss them competently with customers and prescribers.
- Dispense the correct medication and provide drug counseling to customers.
- Notify management regarding any customer or employee accidents.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy.
- A current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
- Commitment to acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
