About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program running from January 11 to April 23, 2027. You will work under the guidance of project managers and construction managers to gain real-world experience. You will support capital projects, manage equipment orders, and assist with project closeout processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with daily job functions and administrative tasks.
- Help execute the contractor bid process.
- Inspect capital projects to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
- Coordinate reviews of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical plans with technical staff.
- Manage store fixture installations and track equipment deliveries.
- Assist with project closeout tasks including punch lists and final invoicing.
- Complete specific assignments and a cumulative project to present to the management team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Prior experience working in a construction environment.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

- This position is based in Memphis, Tennessee.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship.
