About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program running from January 11 to April 23, 2027. You will work under the guidance of project managers and construction managers to gain hands-on experience. The role involves supporting capital projects and completing a cumulative project to present to the leadership team.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with daily tasks, including pre-remodel checklists and fixture drawings.
- Help manage the contractor bid process and equipment orders.
- Coordinate reviews of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration plans with technicians.
- Review architecture plans to ensure they meet company standards and compliance requirements.
- Track equipment deliveries and manage store fixture installations.
- Inspect capital projects to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
- Complete estimates and oversee the progress of minor capital projects.
- Assist with project closeout activities like punch lists, final invoicing, and filing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Architecture.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Prior experience working in a construction environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and in teams.
- Must have permanent work authorization in the United States.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term.
