About the role#
The Merchandising Co-op is a 16-week immersive program based in Cincinnati. You will work within a merchandising department to gain a practical understanding of the corporate merchandising function. This is a full-time, paid position designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Merchandising group in achieving department goals and objectives.
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner with guidance from department managers.
- Support activities including end-to-end assortment, financials, analysis, and category strategy.
- Interpret data trends to inform business decisions.
- Communicate status updates and potential issues to your team.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
- Complete a cumulative internship project and present your findings to the Merchandising leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Marketing, Finance, or Data Science.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- High motivation and the ability to take initiative on your own work.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently or in groups.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Work authorization in the United States that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
