About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Student or Intern to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling term. You will work on-site, assisting the pharmacy team while gaining practical experience in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the pharmacist with daily responsibilities, excluding tasks that require professional pharmacist judgment.
- Enter patient information into the computer system with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide leadership during your shifts to support pharmacy workflow and pharmacist oversight.
- Train and mentor pharmacy associates on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform post-fill audits and help provide Medication Therapy Management services.
- Ensure department standards are met by leading by example and delegating station rotations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school program.
- Completion of national or state intern registration, certification, or licensure.
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
