About the role#
The Pharmacy Intern works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager to support daily site operations. You will focus on patient care and provide professional service to customers. This role is based in a retail environment where you will assist in achieving business objectives while maintaining high standards of clinical care.
What you'll do#
- Review, interpret, and fill prescriptions and orders under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Perform medication therapy management and offer consultations to help patients understand their drug therapy plans.
- Deliver Pharmacy Care programs, including administering immunizations, injections, and testing.
- Assist with pharmacy operations such as inventory purchasing, expense control, and management.
- Ensure the pharmacy remains in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
- Monitor patient outcomes to minimize adverse drug effects and support adherence programs.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to improve workflow and provide customer support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- A state-issued Pharmacy Intern license for the state of California.
- An active Immunization Certificate.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work various schedules to meet store and customer needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.

- This is a full-time, paid position.
- Candidates must reside in California or Nevada as a condition of employment.
