Raley's ONE Graduate Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

The Graduate Pharmacy Intern works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager to assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy. This role focuses on providing patient-centric care and supporting the store in meeting its business objectives, including sales and prescription volume goals.

What you'll do#

• Assist in pharmacy operations, including customer service, inventory purchasing and management, and expense control.
• Prepare, dispense, and sell prescription and pharmacy-related products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Participate in Pharmacy Care programs, such as immunizations, injections, testing, and medication adherence platforms.
• Monitor patients to ensure positive therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug effects.
• Ensure the pharmacy location remains in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies.
• Consult with patients to ensure they understand drug therapy plans and potential interactions.

What you'll need#

• Graduate of Pharmacy School with a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
• Valid state-issued Pharmacy Intern license for the state where working.
• Strong customer relations skills and the ability to maintain an exceptional service environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound business ethics and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet store and customer needs.
