About the role#

The Graduate Pharmacy Intern works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager to support daily pharmacy operations. This role focuses on providing patient-centered care and contributing to the business objectives of the pharmacy, including sales goals, inventory management, and expense control.

What you'll do#

• Assist in the operation of the pharmacy, including customer service, inventory purchasing, and management.
• Prepare, dispense, and sell prescription and pharmacy-related products under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Monitor patients to ensure positive therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse drug effects.
• Provide patient consultations regarding drug therapy plans and potential drug interactions.
• Participate in pharmacy care programs such as immunizations, testing, and medication adherence platforms.
• Support the pharmacy team in optimizing workflow, financial performance, and customer experience.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Valid state-issued Pharmacy Intern license in the state of practice.
• Valid state-issued Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Current Immunization Certificate.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and Word.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under time constraints.
