Sales Administrator

About the role#

Westview Co-op is seeking a full-time Sales Administrator to join our team in Drumheller, Alberta. This role focuses on supporting daily operations through accounting, financial accuracy, and system-based tasks while upholding our core values of integrity, community, and teamwork.

What you'll do#

• Provide professional, people-first service to members and guests, ensuring our brand promise is met.
• Perform daily accounting functions, including accounts payable processing, cash handling, and financial reconciliations.
• Complete timely invoicing and maintain guest accounts with high accuracy and confidentiality.
• Manage cash-ups, prepare bank deposits, and verify month-end reports to support accounting close processes.
• Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure pricing integrity within our files.
• Utilize accounting and operational systems, such as JDE and Tronia, alongside Excel for data tracking and reporting.
• Perform general office duties, including answering phones, handling mail, and responding to inquiries.
• Actively promote a culture of safety by following the Westview Co-op Health and Safety Program.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and other assigned operational duties.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• A positive, approachable, and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Willingness to participate in a criminal record background check.
• Education or interest in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance is preferred.

Location & details#

• Location: Drumheller, Alberta, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, primarily days with occasional evenings and weekends.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
